An author, a quilter and host of Creative Talk Network, Pat Sloan is well-known and prolific in many arenas. And she does not disappoint with her wonderful new book, Redwork with a Twist.
As Pat mentions in the introduction, redwork became popular with the advent of Turkey Red in the late 1800s. The new red dyes would not fade or bleed. Redwork remains popular today because of it's classic and simple style.
This new book offers 10 pretty quilting/redwork projects as well as pattern sheets and stitch instructions. Pat's approach is friendly and easy to follow.
This is a beautiful book!
Pat's publisher was kind enough to send me a copy of this book, so I'm adding it to the giveaways for our grand launch. One of you will be the lucky winner. Read details here. Hint... you gotta' stitch something to win.
